  • Coaches:

    • Background Check
    • USA Football Certification
    • Code of Conduct
Weigh-ins are scheduled as a team by coaches in mid-August and will be conducted at the Field of Dreams office. An official weight must be recorded for ball carrying eligibility.
Restricted Ball Carrier Weight by Grade Level
3rd grade: 90 lbs.
4th grade: 105 lbs.
5th grade: 120 lbs.
6th grade: 135 lbs.
Players within 5 pounds over the ball carrying weight at weigh-in will be allowed to weigh in under the ball-carrying weight on opening weekend. There will be a 1-pound weight gain allowed for the first six weeks of the season. Note that if a player is stickered as a restricted ball carrier, they may not be unstickered if they fall below the weight after the start of the season. At that point, once stickered, they are stickered for the remainder of the season. If a player is not weighed in by August 30, they will be stickered and not allowed to carry the ball.
Physicals

Tackle players must have a physical prior to starting practices. A generic form is acceptable or an official one for schools may be used. Turn physicals in to your coach before the first practice. Physicals must be dated on or after May 1, 2026 for the 2026 season.
